What is it about? One day, the entire humanity suddenly collapses as a bright light turns civilization into stone. 3,700 years pass, during which nature reclaims the cities, buildings decay, and the Earth returns to a real stone age.
The highly intelligent student Senku Ishigami achieves the impossible and breaks out of his stone shell. He has counted every second fully conscious over the entire 3,700 years to know exactly when and where he is.
He makes a plan to uncover the secret of the petrification and to restore the rest of humanity. For this, he must rebuild all human civilization from scratch – with the help of science. The grand finale will then focus on the moon mission.
Why is it worth a look? This cours is definitely the grand finale of the anime. If it runs similarly to the previous two cours, it could feature small official anime original scenes that didn’t fit into the manga. This will meaningfully expand the story for fans. The season will comprise about 12-13 episodes.
