It’s about the demon slayer SourGorilla775, a 73-year-old player who has already invested over 2,000 hours into Diablo 4 and seemingly gets lost in the world of demons every day. One day, according to his son, the father expressed sudden confusion. Fearing a stroke, they investigated the issue. A tumor was found.
An operation was scheduled to remove the tumor. However, the son has come up with a surprise he wants to give his father, and he needs help from the community.
Son seeks the support of the community
What did the son ask for? The father has never engaged with the social aspect of Diablo 4 as he has hearing issues and fears that his age would intimidate other fans. However, his son came up with a great idea – he posted on Reddit asking other fans for encouraging messages to be sent to his father’s Xbox account. These should help with his recovery.

Sarisin48 reached out with well wishes for recovery to the son. He doesn’t have an Xbox but is also “of the old school” (77 years old) and spends 2-3 hours a day solo playing Diablo and slaying demons.
ImDiabTTV also sends recovery wishes, and Lammerikano states that the community needs players like him, but he should first focus on his recovery. He hopes for an update regarding his father’s condition.
Unfortunately, there is still no feedback on how the father is doing, but several have reached out on Reddit to bring joy to the fan. The son explains that he doesn’t know much about “these things”, but his father constantly talks about Season 10.
