A 7-year-old Australian girl captured the hearts of the audience at a Pokémon tournament. The special thing: she won in the end and then gave a heartwarming interview.
This is the player in question: The 7-year-old Simone Lim participated in the Pokémon Oceania International Juniors Championships and surprisingly defeated the defending champion in the final.

The little girl played wisely and read her opponent’s moves. Accordingly, she countered these actions and won with two effective attacks against her opponent.
In the background, a lot of cheering can be heard – the audience embraced the 7-year-old. Lim is so small that her head just barely fits the headset, and she otherwise seems very awkward and just like a little girl. All the more impressive is that she played so smartly and coldly in the final.
The interview afterwards: After winning, she gave an interview to the tournament host, which melted many viewers’ hearts.
At first, she politely thanked her friends, her family, and her coach, which caused some laughs from the audience. Then the host asked her if she wanted to say anything else. After a brief pause, Lim quietly replied: “Uh, no.” The audience laughed again and applauded the 7-year-old for her victory.
