That there’s a lot of cutting in 7 vs. Wild is no secret. But on the birthday of Twitch streamer Trymacs, something happened that was never shown afterwards. The streamer expressed his outrage about it in his reaction to the episode.
What kind of birthday gift was it? Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler had his birthday on August 19 while on suspension from 7 vs. Wild, coinciding with Sascha Huber’s birthday.
On his birthday, the streamer took a trip to the coast of the island with his teammate Wieland “Rumathra” Welte. The two likely walked several kilometers.
When Rumathra could no longer continue, Trymacs ran another few hundred meters to a cliff, where he made an incredible discovery.

What did he find there? According to his reaction to episode 12 of 7 vs. Wild, he found a cave that was shaped by the ocean. In the cave, there was said to be a rock that was protruding out of the water.
According to Trymacs, a seal was sitting on this rock, which he could approach to about 15 meters. In his reaction to the episode, he describes the moment as if he were in a Disney movie. When Trymacs got too close to the seal, it likely jumped into the water.

Trymacs: “I am speechless right now”
Why was the scene not shown? This cannot be answered precisely. During his reaction, the streamer addresses questions from the chat. He claims he did not hallucinate and filmed the seal 3 times from different perspectives.
How did Trymacs react? Initially, the streamer was somewhat bewildered and said during the stream: “I am speechless right now.”
Trymacs was particularly upset in his reaction because he was informed by the chat that Sascha Huber’s exclusive episode, which he received as a birthday gift, received 1 million views. However, his, in his opinion, most impressive scene was not even shown in the series. Knossi also experienced something similar before and expressed his criticism.
The streamer went so far in the stream as to send a voice message to the production. Here is an excerpt from the voice message:
[…] We did that huge hike, and, and, and. A lot happened there, I also saw a seal on my birthday, in that little cave there at the coast on the rock. What was super crazy for me felt like the craziest scene at 7 vs. Wild was not included. Was that not seen, or was the file faulty, or did I not film it, but I think I made 4 or 5 recordings, that can’t actually be. […]

Will we still see the seal? The chances are good that we can still see the seal, as long as Trymacs really filmed it.
Last year, all episodes were released again uncut, with only minimal changes. This could also happen again this year. Additionally, there is a chance that Trymacs will receive the footage from the production and upload it again as a special birthday feature. Another participant received not only a birthday episode but a whole special featuring only him.
