What location is known for season 3? Fritz Meinecke, the mastermind behind the survival series 7 vs. Wild, has announced a third season. In his YouTube video, he explains the new format 7 vs. Wild Teams and reveals the new location of the upcoming show: Canada, Alaska. The cold country is perfect for a new challenge where contestants must survive for 14 days.

A change in season 3 brings a fresh breeze

What change will there be in season 3? The contestants in season 1 and 2 had to face the wilderness solo. Games were played and points were collected over a period of 7 days. The one who remained as the only one or had the most points at the end of the season won. However, in season 3, a lot will change:

• Players will now compete in 7 pairs against each other.
  • Teams should consist of friends
    • If a team member gives up, is exhausted or injured and can no longer continue, the entire team will be disqualified
• No more games will be organized to collect points
• The focus is on pure survival
• Season 3 is supposed to last 14 days
  • With the elimination of mini-games, the contestants should have enough energy left to focus on survival, foraging for food, and building shelter
• Every team that survives for 14 days wins. There can thus be multiple winners

The interesting thing about the team edition is the fact that friends, i.e. participants who know each other well, are thrown into the same teams. One wants to see what impact this has on the contestants. Will they grow together and collaborate or will they argue and jeopardize their team? That will be seen.

Are the contestants already decided? So far, no contestants have been chosen yet. We will update the information as soon as it is known.

Is it known when season 3 will start? Nothing is known yet about the start. Season 3 takes place in Alaska, so it is quite possible that Fritz Meinecke will have to weigh when they will shoot this season. In winter, icy temperatures prevail in Alaska, which could quickly cost the lives of people without experience in “survival”. We will therefore add the section as soon as it is known.
