In Reaction to 7 vs. Wild Season 3 “Behind-the-Scenes”, Jens “Knossi” Knosalla (37) revealed that he has already seen his parts from the main series. He is disappointed with the editing because his most important scenes are missing.
Why is Knossi disappointed? Knossi has already seen all current scenes of the main series featuring him and his team partner Sascha Huber (31). Unlike many candidates, he does not wait for the YouTube broadcast for his part in the survival project but watches it privately beforehand. However, Knossi will have to watch some episodes later, as the Twitch star is moving into a house with other influencers.
Knossi recently mentioned in his stream that important scenes are missing in the series that would provide context. At times, only the results of actions are shown, which had previously caused hours of head-scratching for the candidates.
„I am disappointed with the editing, it really upset me, honestly.”

7 vs. Wild Season 3: Number of episodes and the episode length does not match the number of participants
Why are there constant complaints about the episodes? Complaints about the episodes also occurred in Knossi’s stream. The episodes are too short for so many participants. This year, there are 14 instead of 7 participants stranded in the wilderness of Canada. Another user complained in the chat that Knossi and Sascha have too little screen time.
Fritz Meinecke (34) announced some time ago that the number of episodes and their length would remain about the same as in seasons 1 and 2. This is probably due to the fact that the episodes receive fewer and fewer clicks over the course of the season. Longer episodes, on the other hand, would reduce the watch time, which is bad for the YouTube algorithm. Nevertheless, Fritz Meinecke is dissatisfied with the production of season 3, most recently he had a confrontation with the new production company.
Why is the community divided? While many viewers of the streamer agree with him in his chat, some on TikTok have a different opinion. TikTok user “Discovery of Slowness” writes: “That’s what the uncut episodes are for. I think the main episodes are perfectly edited, this time – without needing to skip participants.”
The uncut episodes were introduced in season 2 and show almost all footage of the participants. Only things that the participants do not want to show, or that are not allowed on YouTube, are censored.
MontanaBlack was also planned for season 3 of 7 vs. Wild this year but has canceled. Now the tables have turned and he is receiving a series of cancellations for his Christmas event.
