What is the streamer’s situation in 7 vs Wild? Nova has been struggling with isolation for several episodes in 7 vs. Wild, missing friends and family.
In previous episodes, various contestants have said that they would consider abandoning in a certain scenario. For participant Joris, for example, pneumonia would be the decisive factor.
But in the eighth episode of the YouTube series, Nova became more concrete and announced a possible end the next day.
Streamer struggles with isolation
Why does Nova want to abandon? The streamer continues to suffer greatly from isolation, meaning the separation from family, friends, and the lack of social interaction. Time and again, viewers witness the 23-year-old’s outbursts of tears.
She herself says in one of the scenes shown in episode 8:
- “If tomorrow my mental health, my mental capacity is still that bad and I’m really in despair, […], like that I get panic attacks and stuff, then I’ll press the button tomorrow.”
Nova then adds that she hopes her situation will be better the next day and that the third day will be the low point.
Soon after, there is a cut and the viewers see another scene of the streamer, overwhelmed by her emotions. In tears, she says: “I think I can’t take any more” and explains:
It’s not being out there or… sure, I’m completely wet all the time and I’m somehow getting a rash and stuff. Hey, that’s one thing. It’s not bad because I know it will pass. But what I can’t live with is the isolation. It breaks me mentally so hard. […] I don’t know what to do. […] I will survive this night and see how I feel tomorrow. I don’t know if I can make it.

How are the other contestants doing? The tropical heavy rain, which viewers could already see in episode 7, troubled some participants. However, Twitch streamer Knossi holds firm with strong will and talks to a green ball for distraction.
