What exactly happened between the 63-year-old and the 40 years younger Ann-Kathrin Bendixen alias “Affe auf Bike” is not known. The official post only mentions a “crossing of boundaries”.
The news caused an uproar on social media. However, it was precisely the victim in this situation who drew the anger of some users. On social media, users speculated, without knowing the details of the incident, that the woman must have overreacted and presumed that the man was surely innocent.

Other participants have also made their stance clear. The organizer Fritz Meinecke wrote in his own story on Instagram that he was present and supports the decisions of the organization.
The “Naturensöhne” Andreas Schulze and Gerrit Rösel expressed their “dismay” over the comments and asked: “How can people be so ignorant and disgusting?” They had witnessed the behavior of the documentary filmmaker themselves and found it “absolutely disgusting” (via Reddit).
Affe auf Bike herself commented in her own story on Instagram. The incident was very uncomfortable for her. Kieling, however, later apologized to her, and she considered the whole matter closed.
