Lelouch was born as Lelouch vi Britannia and was the 11th prince of the British royal family. However, together with his sister Nunnally, he is banished to Japan. The country is known only as the British colony called Area 11 after an invasion by the British Empire.
The young student would do anything for his sister and therefore sets it as his goal to create a better world for her. To do this, he wants to overthrow the British Empire. He operates under the alias Zero and uses underhanded tricks to achieve his goals.
He kills his half-sister, deceives his friends, and lies to his followers. He becomes a tyrannical emperor and directs the world’s wrath upon himself. Ultimately, however, Lelouch sacrifices himself as an object of hatred to reunite the warring nations and give them back their freedom.
