4. He built a super prison to imprison his former friends
As can be seen from previous entries, Tony Stark was a complicated figure in the Civil War event in the comics. Since many heroes did not join him, they were hunted by Shield and Iron Man’s supporters. However, since you cannot just throw superheroes into a regular prison, he built a prison in the Negative Zone together with Mr. Fantastic and Yellowjacket.
Every state in the USA also had a portal in it to make transport as safe and easy as possible. Of course, after the event, the prison was also used by villains like Blastaar, who attempted to attack Earth through the portals with an army (via Marvel Database).
Similar to the Thor clone, one can already question Tony’s morals here in building a prison to capture his former friends. At times, even young heroes who simply did not want to register were put in there.
