2. Cloning one of his closest colleagues to pursue his goals
Again, this concerns events in the comic event Civil War. As in the film, there are two sides. The pro-registration side (Tony Stark) and the anti-registration side (Steve Rogers). To strengthen his side, Tony used a hair from Thor, which he had hidden for years, to create a clone named Ragnarok together with Mr. Fantastic and Henry Pym (who was actually a Skrull).
In a fight with the Secret Avengers (Steve Rogers’ team), Steve’s team tries to escape, but Ragnarok manages to kill the hero Goliath. Later, Ragnarok was killed by Hercules (Marvel Database).
Not only did Tony create a powerful clone without Thor’s consent, but he also turned him into a highly uncontrollable machine that was later used by sinister organizations.
