Toaster PC Mk. I
What kind of case is this? Do you think kitchen appliances are unsuitable for gaming? Modder “DesignSynthetics” shows with his build that a fully functional gaming PC can also fit inside a toaster. You might no longer toast bread with it, but you can certainly game. The case is very compact.
In a blog post on Build.gg, the creator wrote that he spent about 3 months on his PC and took a total of 100 hours. Initially, it was just a joke between the modder and his brother about what it would be like to stuff a PC into a toaster.
This hardware is inside the case:
- Ryzen 7 (2700X)
- GTX 1080 Ti
- 8 GB RAM
What we particularly like: The design is simple and very compact. Even though there is little space available inside, all components find their place. At the same time, you don’t get the feeling that the modder had to “stuff” all the parts in to make them fit.

By the way, it wasn’t just modder “DesignSynthetics” who found a gaming toaster appealing. Manufacturer Razer developed a toaster because gamers wanted one.
