1. Pokémon Colosseum / Pokémon XD

In 1st place, we pack 2 titles: Pokémon Colosseum / Pokémon XD. They belong to the most unusual titles of the series, as they feel like a classic JRPG rather than a traditional Pokémon game:
- The protagonist looks older
- It is played only in double battles
- There are no wild Pokémon, only trainer battles
- And the game is not easy
Apart from the gameplay, both titles have a completely different atmosphere. Colosseum feels like a Western movie with its unusual soundtrack, while the ability to steal
Shadow Pokémon adds a new dynamic to capturing.
While there are not as many monsters as in other games, it also forces the trainer to use different tactics than usual. The double battles still feel refreshing today because different attacks have varying tactical relevance.
Unfortunately, it is quite expensive to obtain the two games used. So one can only hope that Nintendo will add the games to their GameCube collection, so that they can be played on a modern system with the expansion pack subscription.
