3. Into the Badlands
Into the Badlands mixes science fiction with Asian martial arts fights. The series is based on the Chinese novel “Journey to the West” and tells of a future where various factions fight against each other.
Especially the so-called “clippers” play an important role. They are specially trained fighters who fight without firearms – those have been banned from the Badlands. This promises thrillingly staged martial arts fights based on Chinese models.
The series ran from 2015 to 2019 and comprises 32 episodes over 3 seasons.

They are cut off from the outside world and cannot rely on anyone else having survived. Because cities were bombed all over the USA.
After the second season, the series was canceled. However, comics were subsequently published that continue and ultimately conclude the story.
