4. A Hidden Harvest
What kind of quest is this? The mission is called “A Hidden Harvest” and is part of Morrowind. Here, you are supposed to do a favor for a very nervous Khajiit. His harvest has been stolen, and you need to retrieve his notes and destroy the harvest.
The assistant of the Khajiit, a dark elf, also plays a role. She is very fond of the idea of destroying the harvest.
What do I like about this quest? The quest gets really exciting when you find the notes. They point to the illegal activities of the Khajiit. Moreover, at the end, you are faced with the decision of whether to turn him in or help him.
The quest has a bit of a crime story feel to it. It even features a corrupt investigator who wants to make amends for her wrongdoings.
5. The Stromfeste Abduction
What kind of quest is this? In “The Stromfeste Abduction”, you help an investigator in Elsweyr solve a case. It’s about a Khajiit who is missing a family member.
You follow the trails and are often warned by a peculiar Khajiit. Ultimately, you arrive at a very unexpected outcome of the story.
What do I like about this quest? As a crime fan, I really enjoyed working on the missing person case. However, the best part was the ending. On the one hand, my mouth dropped open, and on the other hand, I had to laugh a lot. Therefore, this is one of the quests I won’t forget anytime soon.
I am also a big cat fan. I simply love the iconic Khajiit. And it’s not just me; they are also ranked high in the ranking of the most popular ESO races.
6. Birds of a Feather Steal Together
What kind of quest is this? In the mission “Birds of a Feather Steal Together”, you need to assemble a crew and carry out a heist. Your companions consist of rogues and an alcoholic wizard.
You set off with your crew to raid a property. However, in this mission, pretty much everything goes wrong that can go wrong.
What do I like about this quest: The best part of this mission is the Alfiq. This is one of the more than 17 subtypes of Khajiit and looks just like a house cat. Alfiq are powerful mages, and this one is also an alcoholic.
So prepare for lots of chuckling as the good cat vomits again while casting spells.
7. Dream Journey into Darkness
What kind of quest is this? I also remember “Dream Journey into Darkness” at the Kluftspitze. Here, you encounter the vampire Verandis Ravenwatch.
You are supposed to help him explore his past. So you take a potion and dive into his memories. And there you encounter events you wouldn’t necessarily expect.
What do I like about this quest: I find the unexpected fascinating in this mission. You fight through several mission steps to ultimately find yourself in front of a really tragic heap of shards.
Furthermore, the setup is cool. In the vision, you are not your own character but take on the role of Verandis Ravenwatch.
When I look at my list of the coolest quests, it’s quite cat-heavy. But the Khajiit are simply cult in ESO and I love cats. My colleague Jürgen Horn thinks so too. He already gets excited about ESO just by looking at his house cat.
Of course, there are many more exciting quests in ESO. You could spend years of your life if you want to play them all. I will certainly encounter more quests that I want to experience over and over again.
What are your favorite quests in ESO? Or are you not that into missions? Let us know in the comments!
