Bonus: Lust from Beyond
As a small extra, we would like to introduce Lust from Beyond. This game is probably not one that many fans are “looking forward to,” but it’s such a unique case that some may surely find it interesting.
A word of warning in advance: Lust from Beyond is a completely different type of game that has a strong focus on eroticism, sex, horror, and the grotesque. If you cannot relate to these themes, feel free to skip this point.
This is Lust from Beyond: Lust from Beyond is a psychological survival adventure inspired by Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos and other horror stories. You play as Victor Holloway, an antiquarian who suffers from special nightmares.
In these nightmares and visions, he repeatedly encounters scenes of lust, sex, and pain that he can hardly process. He therefore joins the Cult of Ecstasy, which apparently knows more about this phenomenon.
During the adventure, you get to experience the cult’s life from the inside and follow the fanatics’ journey through Victor’s visions of Lusst’ghaa, the land of ecstasy beyond our reality.
Survival is tough in Lust from Beyond: Survival itself is not a challenge in Lust from Beyond. The game is rather about how many disturbing scenes you, as a character and as a player, can endure.
From the first images, it seems that you will repeatedly encounter deformed monsters in a bizarre world and rampant erotic scenes in rapid succession.
On your journey, you encounter tricky puzzles and monsters that threaten you and might actually want to harm you. Whether they will actually kill you or just plague you with even more abominable visions, you will have to find out for yourself.
What we expect from Lust from Beyond:
- A unique, sophisticated story that leaves a deep impression
- A successful combination of horror, adventure, and sex that does not come off as clumsy or inappropriate
- Diverse locations, a detailed world, and an engaging atmosphere
When and where does Lust from Beyond come out? The release date is only noted as “coming soon” on Steam. The “prologue” is already free on Steam.
