Last Oasis
This is Last Oasis: Last Oasis is somewhat reminiscent of ARK meets Wild Wild West. In this innovative survival MMO, you not only play against the players but also against the sun, which is the core feature of the game.
After the Earth stopped rotating, the entire planet dried up and turned into a single, massive desert. The only places of refuge are the scattered oases. As a result, people have once again become nomads.
In a constant flight from the deadly rays of the sun, you move through the desert with self-built constructs of wood – either on huge walkers where you can even build bases or on agile little speeders. The goal is to survive, even if it costs other players their lives.
Survival is tough in Last Oasis: Since the Earth still rotates around the sun (but no longer around itself), you must always flee from the approaching day. Time pressure is therefore a crucial factor in surviving Last Oasis.
Otherwise, your survival depends on how effectively and quickly you can gather resources to expand your walkers and craft items. With better companions, your chances of survival increase, as you are faster and more resilient than the sun or attackers.
An additional, significant factor in survival is PvP. Other survivors can take your looted resources at any time, posing a threat. The fight for survival makes no exceptions for other humans.
What we expect from Last Oasis:
- A unique gameplay mechanic involving the sun
- Important hubs for interactions at the oases
- Larger groups of players teaming up to build massive walkers
- Fast-paced gameplay with agile speeders to illustrate the time pressure against the sun
- Running cities
