June brings two new MMORPG expansions and the release of two completely new games. Here at MeinMMO, we present to you the most important MMOs and online games that might be interesting for you this month.
What are these games? The selected games are online games that you can experience with friends or complete strangers. Each game celebrates its release in June 2021 or receives a major update with lots of new features.
We have mixed the selected titles and the order does not reflect any ranking. Generally, this list is about discovering new games and providing an overview of the upcoming month.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Release of the Blackwood expansion

What type of game is it? The Elder Scrolls Online is a theme-park MMORPG from ZeniMax, set in the world of Tamriel about 1,000 years before TES V: Skyrim.
You can experience the story of the MMO with other players or complete it alone. Due to a special technology, the world adapts to your level and progress in the story, while other players may perceive it differently.
This way, you can start right away with the areas of the latest expansion or explore the world from the beginning. When creating your character, you can choose from 10 races and 6 classes. The system is complemented by skill lines from various guilds that expand your character’s repertoire.
Here are the highlights of ESO
ESO receives three DLCs and one major expansion each year. In 2020, it went towards Skyrim to discover the Black Heart of Skyrim. In the new year, everything revolves around Oblivion and the villain Mehrunes Dagon.
The Elder Scrolls Online offers you:

Here’s why you should play ESO in June
On June 1, the new expansion Blackwood was released for PC/Stadia, and on June 8, it comes for consoles. With Blackwood, there’s a lot of new content, including:
- The new area Darkforest
- The new companions that are interesting for every type of player
- New world events: portals to the realm of oblivion
- A new trial for 12 players
- New antiquities that were introduced with Greymoor
Additionally, there will be new stories, quests, houses for housing, sets, and much more. With Blackwood, the tutorial of ESO is also being revamped, so newcomers should give the MMORPG a chance. But veterans will also benefit from the many new contents.
