Genshin Impact – Patch 2.0
Genre: Action RPG | Developer: miHoYo | Platform: PC, PS4, Android, iOS | Release Date: September 28, 2020 | Model: Free-to-Play
What kind of game is this? Genshin Impact is an anime action RPG where you fight monsters, explore a colorful fantasy world, and complete various quests. As you progress, you unlock new characters to switch between and outfit with gear.
This can either be done through regular gameplay or through a controversial gacha system, where you must spend real money to get loot boxes with weapons or heroes.
However, the game impresses with a variety of tasks, daily quests, and new service updates, which almost makes it feel like an MMO.
These are the highlights of Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact visually strongly resembles the game Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, it has some gameplay highlights to offer in addition to the graphics:
- There is an action combat system with various combos
- You will encounter an exciting story with surprising twists
- Co-op mode with up to three players from adventure level 16
- Many different characters, which we sorted for you in a tier list
- Crossplay between PC, PS4, PS5, and Mobile
Why you should play Genshin Impact in August
On July 21, the major update 2.0 was released. This brought a completely new region, Inazuma, which many players have been waiting for for months. New story chapters, 3 new characters, and numerous new gear items were also introduced into the game.
The update is primarily targeted at veterans in Genshin Impact, as the area can only be accessed at advanced levels. However, new and casual players also received innovations, including a farming feature for their own house.
Genshin Impact generally targets players who want to play an action RPG in anime style and primarily go solo. However, there is always the option to play in co-op with friends and explore the world together.
