Naraka: Bladepoint – Release
Genre: Battle Royale | Developer: 24 Entertainment | Platform: PC | Release Date: August 12, 2021 | Model: Buy-to-Play
What kind of game is this? In Naraka: Bladepoint, 60 players battle it out in a fast-paced battle royale for survival. So PvP is the focus. You land on a mysterious island. Unlike Fortnite and PUBG, however, you do not only rely on firearms.
Instead, you are in an Asian setting, and the focus is on melee combat, such as with staffs, swords, or fists. You can also use rifles and bows to attack enemies from a distance.
The game has already been playable in various beta events on Steam.
These are the highlights of Naraka: Bladepoint

Why you should play Naraka: Bladepoint in August
On August 12, Naraka: Bladepoint officially released on Steam. So it’s the perfect time to start with the game, after all, other players also have little experience, making the matches most interesting and varied.
In the demo, at peak times, up to 186,000 players were simultaneously online on Steam (via Steamcharts). So, initially, the waiting times for new matches should be very low.
Naraka: Bladepoint targets PvP fans seeking an action-packed battle royale set in an Asian fantasy world. Overall, the game is reminiscent of a mix between Sekiro (optics and game world) and Shadow Arena (battle royale and combat system).
MyMMO editor Jürgen Horn already tested the game in the demo and wrote down his experience: Now I understand why Naraka Bladepoint was already a hit on Steam as a demo.
