Hunt: Showdown – New Map
Genre: Shooter | Developer: Crytek | Platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S | Release Date: August 27, 2019 | Model: Buy-to-Play
What kind of game is this? In Hunt Showdown, you navigate a shooter where it is often wise not to shoot. Sounds crazy? It is. The game takes you into a western-fantasy scenario in 1895 and makes you what you’ve always wanted to be: a monster-hunting cowboy with shotgun-ax.
The basic framework of a match involves searching for clues as to where a monster is hiding. You must then find this monster, kill it, and bring the loot to one of three extraction points. There you must survive for 30 seconds, and you win.
While you do this, up to 10 other players will be trying to achieve the same.

A highlight is also the new map DeSalle, which was released at the end of July. It provides something new for veterans and a good reason to finally start with Hunt: Showdown.
In general, the game targets shooter fans wanting a thrilling PvEvP mode. However, permadeath with the loss of all progress is not for every type of player. For those looking to try their luck, there’s a guide to the weapons and starting in the game:
