Fishing Planet
Good luck, friends of the water world. After we have already waded through Pokémon, Hello Kitty, race cars, and war vehicles, we conclude our article with tranquility and serenity.
Fishing Planet is a fishing simulation from a first-person perspective. Put a slippery worm on the hook and catch yourself some fat trophies. You can bite on any of over 72 fish species, which stand out due to their unique behavior and AI. Behavior and AI? In fish? Absolutely. Fishing Planet takes the simulation very seriously and offers complex fish behavior. And that’s dependent on:
- Seasonal and climatic changes
- Time of day
- Water speed
- Bottom contour and type
- Water and air temperature
- Wind
- and many other factors
For variety, there are 12 waterways with multiple fishing spots and various vegetation. To ensure that there’s really no boredom, there’s also dynamic weather with day and night changes, as well as seasons and rain, fog, or sunshine.
The game advertises with photorealistic graphics and MMO elements. To bring multiple players together, fishing tournaments are held where you can compete alone or as a team.
On the leaderboards, the most successful anglers are then immortalized.
