Fact 6: Videl’s pregnancy was revealed by an accident
Videl wanted to surprise Son Gohan with her pregnancy. The first person to find out about this secret was likely Dende in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods. He healed Videl after a stray shot and discovered that she was pregnant. She instructed Dende not to tell Gohan anything about the baby.
Only during the ritual for the Super Saiyan God mode in Dragon Ball Super did Videl reveal the news and disclose that she was pregnant. Son Gohan jumped up in joy and was presumably very proud to finally become a father.

Fact 7: Not only Son Gohan, but also Videl relies on Piccolo as a babysitter
Son Gohan’s high regard for Piccolo as a babysitter for his daughter Pan became clear with the film for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Son Goku cannot step in and proves, that he is not the best grandfather. But Videl also holds Piccolo in high esteem, as some scenes from the movie demonstrate.
She gave Piccolo a cell phone so she could reach him more easily when he has to watch little Pan again. Additionally, Pan and Piccolo thus have a quicker way to get in touch with each other. As a thank you for babysitting, she also gifted him a variety of stuffed animals.
