In Fortnite, you have probably experienced a tough battle only to be humiliated at the end by a mistake. Therefore, we will show you seven embarrassing deaths that every Fortnite player has experienced at least once.
What are these deaths? These are seven deaths that every player must have experienced at least once. However, these are not ordinary deaths; they are embarrassing deaths. Most of these moments occurred by chance or were intentionally caused by the opponent. It is even worse if you were observed by others during these escapades.
Devoured by a shark
How does this happen? Sharks were introduced with Chapter 2 Season 3, when the entire map was flooded after a live event. These ruthless sea hunters not only look brutal, they are also brutal.
You were surely fishing one day, and suddenly a mysterious melody plays. You wonder why this is happening and think nothing of it. Then you are on your way to cross the sea when this beast suddenly leaps out of the water.
You save yourself on land and celebrate having survived this attack. You continue your journey, but suddenly the shark jumps out of the water and devours you in mid-air. A cruel way to die.
Fell to death
How does this happen? How nice it is to come across an opponent who is a real beast at building. The better for you, as you can easily rob him of his honor.
Destroy the foundation of his building to deal with your opponent. You will see that his structure will be flattened to the ground. In the blink of an eye, he will break his neck.
But be careful; this can also happen to you. So, don’t build too high or quickly use a jump pad in case of an emergency to get to safety before your collapsing building. That way, you can avoid humiliation.
Killed during an emote
How does this happen? You certainly know that after a 1 vs 1, you first rub the victory in the dead opponent’s face. But don’t celebrate too early. Often, that could also mean your own demise.
While you are fighting, a third player might join from a distance and observe your battle from afar. After you have chosen your celebratory dance and are celebrating yourself, make sure no one is nearby. Otherwise, you may not be the one who laughs last.
Catapulted into the storm
How does this happen? You certainly know the shock grenades. Fortnite held a vote in which you could choose whether to vote for the shock grenade launcher or the well-known pocket rift. The grenade launcher won, and now you face the same risk as with shock grenades.
Many players use this tool to move quickly. So, you use the grenade while sprinting, throw it under your feet, jump at the right moment, and are catapulted a good distance forward. In a life-and-death chase, you can quickly escape danger with this method, or in the worst case, you chase yourself into the storm.
This is not only embarrassing but also happens frequently towards the end of a match. It can be so frustrating that you’re about to split your controller or keyboard in two.
Killed with a rocket launcher
How does this happen? The infamous self-inflicted death with a rocket launcher. You are probably in a match and are just happy that you found a rocket launcher. Afterwards, you stroll with your squad through the map and spot a few opponents dismantling a POI.
You see your moment to shine as a hero and to shove a rocket in the face of every opponent. Unfortunately, that is usually wishful thinking. You awaken in reality and try to hit an opponent with a rocket but instead blow yourself up. Then you subject yourself to humiliation and get bombarded with emotes from your opponents.
Better to proceed tactically and fire your rocket from a distance; then you can spare yourself that.
Run over
How does this happen? Cars are a great way to move quickly from point A to point B without much hassle. However, many players use vehicles as weapons. Some vehicles, like the truck, are almost as sturdy as tanks. With the right speed, your opponents can run you over, toss you into the air, and end your game.
This happens so often that you don’t even dare to walk on the open street in Lazy Lake, fearing you might get run over by a vehicle.
Dishonored by the Recon Scanner
How does this happen? Perhaps you’ve heard from streamers attempting to land certain trickshots with the Recon Scanner. In doing so, your opponent tries to shoot you so low that you only have a sliver of HP left.
Then he tries to hit you with the scanner’s bullet with a risky jump and a precisely calculated shot trajectory. Anyone who can execute such a kill is definitely impressive and robs every player of their honor. Now, why is this so bad, you ask? The scanner deals almost no damage as it is primarily meant to scout the surroundings for enemies.
What do you think of these lists? Have you also died in all these embarrassing moments? Let us know in the comments what you think.
