6. Spiders-Man

What is Spiders-Man? In Universe 11580, Peter Parker’s fate took a grotesque turn. As a young student, he was invited to a modern laboratory. There was an experiment with a large colony of spiders that had been irradiated. He fell in and was consumed.
But the spiders changed. A swarm consciousness emerged, based on Peter Parker’s awareness. The spider colony took a Spider-Man suit and began to combat evil.
The tragic aspect of Spiders-Man is the fact that Peter can never live as he did before, but still retains his memories and consciousness (via Marvel Database).
