In an interview with the British Guardian, John Carpenter revealed what occupies him today.

Hello, John. What are you doing today?
I’m playing the video game Destiny 2. It’s a science fiction game. It’s fun.
I’ve heard about it. It’s really hard and you shoot at aliens, right?
Yes, it’s hard. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to learning how to play Destiny 2. At my age – why not? After all, it keeps me out of trouble!

Carpenter has gained a lot of merit in the horror and science fiction genres. Films like “The Thing” could indirectly have influenced Destiny as well. The idea that Carpenter spends his days hunting aliens in Destiny 2 is something!
