3. Falling Guillotine – Sword
This is what makes the weapon so strong: For a while now, swords have been among the best power weapons in Destiny 2. This especially applies to the Falling Guillotine and its sister blade.
Instead of the boring uppercut, you have a dizzying sword spin at your disposal. This vortex deals tremendous damage to enemies, uses very little ammo, and hits everything around you.
Farm for these perks:
- Sword Slot: Swordmaster
- Perk Slot 1: Unrelenting Hits
- Perk Slot 2: Whirlwind Blade
This Godroll grants you additional ammo just for slashing and increases your damage up to five times. This way, you can easily carve through waves of enemies and filet bosses with a reinforced spinning attack.
Where to get the blade? Once you reach Rank 30 in the Season Pass, you will be able to enjoy the Falling Guillotine. Starting from Rank 45, it will then be available for farming in the “Arrival Focused Umbral Engram”.
4. Ikelos_MP_V1.0.2 – Submachine Gun
This is what makes the weapon so strong: The Ikelos SMG is known to veterans as a weapon from the Escalation Protocol. New to Season 11 is the fact that it generates explosive Warmind Cells.
This rare ability alone catapults the SMG into the weapon Olympus. On top of that, its biggest competitor, the Acolyte, will fall by the wayside next season.
Farm for these perks:
- Magazine: Seraph Rounds
- Perk Slot 1: Danger Zone
- Perk Slot 2: Surrounded
Only Escalation weapons have access to Seraph Rounds. They bounce off surfaces and penetrate targets and shields better.
The two perks allow for more damage, better handling, stability, and faster reload speed when you are surrounded by enemies – a playstyle that fits SMGs perfectly.
Where to get the gun? After completing the preparation for the great evacuation, you gain access to new engrams. With the now available “Short-distance Focused Umbral Engram”, you can quickly farm a strong Ikelos SMG.
5. Workaholic – Shotgun
This is what makes the weapon so strong: The unusual precision shotguns like the Workaholic haven’t been on the PvE radar for a long time. Instead of a widely spread lead rain, only a single projectile leaves the long barrel.
Recently, the entire genre received a buff (30% extra damage). Now, precision shotguns not only have the highest range but also the best damage values in their family.
Farm for these perks:
- Magazine: Aggressive Frame
- Perk Slot 1: Reloading Holder
- Perk Slot 2: Vorpal Weapon
This choice increases your rate of fire, which helps you especially in fights with stronger enemies. The damage to pesky foes is supported by Vorpal Weapon and you completely circumvent the major shotgun problem of long reload times.
Where to get the gun? You can quickly obtain a Godroll through the “Short-distance Focused Umbral Engram”. Once again, you will need to complete the evacuation preparation for Zavala.
6. Ikelos_SSG_V1.0.2 – Sniper Rifle
This is what makes the weapon so strong: The Ikelos sniper is one of the very fast-firing sniper rifles. Since it is also one of the Escalation weapons, you can create Warmind Cells through kills.
A while back, many powerful sniper rifles were nerfed. If only a small buff comes in Fall 2020, you will have one of the best legendary precision weapons at your disposal.
Farm for these perks:
- Magazine: Extended Mag
- Perk Slot 1: All Good Things are Four
- Perk Slot 2: Piercing Stockpiles
This way, your sniper can fire an impressive 11 shots without a reload break. The 4 bonus rounds are also not taken from your reserve, but appear out of nowhere. You can count on extra damage most of the time.
Where to get the gun? You will receive the Ikelos sniper through “Assassin-Focused Umbral Engram”, which you may still search for Godrolls until the end of Season 11.
