In Destiny 2, players will soon have to hang up many beloved guns. MeinMMO presents you 6 PvE weapons that will help you face the weapon retirement calmly.
This is happening soon in Destiny 2: Players of the MMO shooter are facing two momentous events in Fall 2020:
In this article, MeinMMO lists weapons that you can start the next Destiny chapter “Beyond Light” with, worry-free and prepared.
Why these 6 weapons? We have selected 6 powerful weapons that will remain relevant next year. It would be annoying to invest effort and time into guns only for them to become useless shortly after.
The other important criterion is that you can quickly and purposefully farm for a Godroll, meaning you can easily get the best combinations. This is usually made possible through the Umbral Engrams and the Prism Modifier of Season 11.
At higher levels, you will even unlock the option to receive additional perk alternatives on Umbral weapons. This significantly eases the hunt.
6 strong PvE weapons despite the weapon retirement in Destiny 2
You will find legendary weapons on the list whose power cap is 1360. This is currently the highest infusion limit that can be reached in Destiny 2. Exotic weapons, though, remain completely untouched by retirement (Sunsetting) and are always relevant.
1. Cold Denial – Pulse Rifle
This is what makes the weapon so strong: Cold Denial is one of the hard-hitting pulse rifles that typically play very sluggishly and clumsily – however, this weakness is bypassed by our recommendation. The kinetic weapon is the smoothest 340 in the game.
Additionally, the variety of perks allows you to adapt Cold Denial to almost any situation and hit hard at any distance.
Farm for these perks:
- Magazine: Extended Mag
- Perk Slot 1: Killing Wind or Rampage
- Perk Slot 2: Unrelenting or Multi-Kill Clip
This way, you either have a weapon that feels amazing and heals you in fights or a shredder that deals more damage with kills and reloads faster.
Where to get the gun? You can obtain Cold Denial in the Season Pass of Season 11 (Rank 45). Then you can also farm the weapon through the “Arrival Focused Umbral Engram”.
2. Hunger – Auto Rifle
This is what makes the weapon so strong: The auto rifle with the void element is already familiar to Guardians since the Reckoning activity. It is one of the popular 600s and impresses with strong stats.
Handling, magazine size, and reload speed ensure that you can unleash a reliable hail of bullets in all situations. Depending on the perk choice, you have a beast in PvP or PvE at your disposal.
Farm for these perks:
- Magazine: Extended Mag
- Perk Slot 1: Subsistence
- Perk Slot 2: Surrounded or Rampage
Hunger has access to almost every damage perk in the game. We chose this combination because it allows you to shoot continuously without disturbing pauses, and the damage quickly skyrockets without ever coming down.
Where to get the gun? You can quickly farm the ever-hungry auto rifle through the “Arrival Focused Umbral Engram”.
On the next page, we will continue with the currently possibly strongest power weapon and primary as well as secondary guns.
