Ghost Recon Breakpoint

What is Ghost Recon Breakpoint? Ghost Recon Breakpoint is an open-world shooter and the successor to Wildlands. It is a tactical shooter that is controlled from a third-person perspective, except for some weapons. In the game, the player is taken to the island of Aurora, where they deal with the Wolves, led by a former ally who is now against the players.
What does the multiplayer offer? Ghost Recon Breakpoint can be played alone but offers a more tactical gameplay in groups. The game is designed for both modes of play.
In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you can either explore the island of Aurora and complete missions alone or cooperatively with up to four players. Players can join the active session at any time.
Alternatively, you can dive into the 4v4 PvP mode “Ghost War”. Here, you play on a shrinking map and try to eliminate the opposing team.
Why is the game worth it? At release, there was a lot of criticism of the shooter: bugs spoiled the gaming fun, and many did not like the loot principle. At the end of March Ghost Recon Breakpoint received a huge update, which brought among other things the “Immersive Mode” and also improved the game considerably.
In the “Immersive Mode”, equipment stats and level-based loot are removed. Instead, new tactical options are introduced. These include limited health regeneration, restricted resources, and a minimal user interface. The best part is: teammates like co-op partners are not affected by the player’s own settings.
The criticized matchmaking has also been revised by Ubisoft.
Additionally, according to Ubisoft, AI teammates and a large live event are expected to come in the summer of 2020 (via reddit.com).

Titanfall 2

What is Titanfall 2? Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment. Like in the predecessor, you play as a pilot controlling the exoskeleton of a Titan. You can utilize skills such as cloaking, grappling, or parkour. Besides a single-player campaign, the game also features a multiplayer mode.
What does the multiplayer offer? Titanfall 2 features numerous multiplayer modes:
- In Bounty Hunt, you defeat AI-controlled enemies and compete with other players for points
- In Pilot vs. Pilot, it is a deathmatch mode without Titans
- Additionally, there’s a PvE mode called “Frontier Defense,” where four players must cooperatively survive enemy waves
A significant part of the fun comes from player-versus-player combat but it also offers PvE content like the horde mode “Frontier Defense”.
The gunplay of Titanfall 2 is considered excellent and is a reason for every shooter fan to check it out. Titanfall also serves as the basis for the battle royale hit Apex Legends.
Why is the game worth it? Until January 2020, Titanfall 2 was available for free with PlayStation Plus. The free promotion has allowed Titanfall 2 to regain a large player base. The multiplayer modes are fast-paced and action-packed, offering both traditional PvP and an entertaining co-op mode.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood International Edition

What is Wolfenstein: Youngblood? It is a co-op shooter from the Wolfenstein series. The story takes place 19 years after the end of the last part “A New Colossus”. The protagonists are the daughters of the previous hero BJ Blazkowicz: Jess and Soph. They are controlled by the player and a co-op partner. Alternatively, AI takes control.
What does the multiplayer offer? The game is designed for two players. Many things can only be done jointly by the two sisters.
If you play alone, the second player is taken over by AI. The entire story can be experienced together in co-op mode. And the co-op mode of Youngblood is really fun, according to MeinMMO author Benedict Grothaus.
Particularly interesting is also the Buddy Pass: With the Buddy Pass, you can play with a player who does not own the game.
Why is the game worth it? Wolfenstein: Youngblood is not considered a full-fledged Wolfenstein, but as a spin-off. However, the main focus of Youngblood is on the co-op mode, as the entire story can be played through in pairs.
However, the co-op mode is not the only reason why Youngblood is worthwhile. It offers great boss fights and even a small glimpse into the past as an Easter egg.

Elite: Dangerous

What is Elite: Dangerous? Elite: Dangerous is an open-world space adventure: With a spaceship and a few credits, you start into the procedurally generated galaxy, fighting pirates, trading, or becoming a pirate yourself. Additionally, there is an optional multiplayer mode where you can explore the galaxy with players.
What does the multiplayer offer? The game offers a multiplayer mode called OpenPlay. Players can act with or against each other, fight each other, and loot.
In this respect, the game appears to be a less complex version of Eve Online. If you’re not interested in that, you can switch back to single-player at any time. Decisions made in multiplayer also affect the single-player mode.
Why is the game worth it? Elite: Dangerous is continually expanded and has a persistent world with an interesting story. From June 2020 onwards, large carriers are to be introduced in Elite: Dangerous, and we believe that 2020 will be an exciting year for Elite: Dangerous.
Those who enjoy constantly changing worlds and sandbox games with many possibilities will find everything they want here. The battles for ships or trading are enjoyable, and if Eve Online is too complex, Elite: Dangerous offers an easier entry into an (infinite) galaxy.

Playerunknown’s Battleground

What is Playerunknown’s Battleground? This game is a battle royale shooter. In it, players collect weapons and use vehicles to compete against others and be the last player or team remaining in a round.
What does the multiplayer offer? As a battle royale shooter, PUBG focuses primarily on winning against other players. In the game, 100 players are dropped onto one of three designated maps, with the play areas shrinking over the course of the round. The last one standing wins. Currently (May 5, 2020), the following maps are available:
- Erangel (8×8 kilometers)
- Karakin (2×2 kilometers), which is replaced by Vikendi (6×6 kilometers) from Season 6
- Sanhok (4×4 kilometers)
Each map offers special features. For example, Vikendi is a snow-covered map where you can drive special snow vehicles that are not found on the other maps.
You can choose to play on either a first-person or third-person server.
Additionally, the developer occasionally activates co-op missions, where the community works together towards goals. Once players reach a milestone, new rewards are unlocked.
Why is the game worth it? The game is controversial among players. Some love it, while others cannot stand it at all.
The developer has expanded the game with AI opponents to make it easier for beginners to get started. Since January 22, with the 6th season, a new desert map is available to explore.
The developers are continuously working on the game and provide it with new updates, which is why it has a large player base. Due to the corona crisis, Playerunknown’s Battleground is one of the most played titles on Steam.

Burnout Paradise Remastered

- and Time Challenges, where a task must be completed within a given time.
Why is the game worth it? The remastered version includes the base game along with all eight DLCs of the original, the multiplayer, and the original soundtrack. The remastered version is also optimized for PlayStation 4 Pro: According to the manufacturer, the game runs in 4K at up to 60 Hz. Our colleagues from GamePro consider Burnout Paradise Remastered to still be one of the best arcade racers.
