Paladins Strike
Paladins Strike is an exception in our listing of promising mobile MMORPGs in two respects. On one hand, it is not an Asian game, and on the other, it is not an online role-playing game. Paladins Strike is rather an adaptation of the fun hero shooter Paladins from PC and consoles for the smartphone.
Paladins Strike – Hero shooter meets MOBA
Unlike on PC or consoles, you play Paladins Strike in a top-down view, which is more manageable on small smartphone and tablet screens. This makes Paladins Strike resemble more a MOBA like League of Legends than a shooter.
Nevertheless, Paladins Strike stays true to the original. So far, you have 15 heroes from Paladins available, and the skills of the characters have also been adapted for the mobile platform. Therefore, anyone familiar with Paladins will quickly understand the mobile version as well.
Paladins Strike – Colorful graphics and fast gameplay
Despite the change in perspective, Paladins Strike already plays fluidly and dynamically during the current alpha phase – just like the original Paladins. The simple controls via icon buttons at the edge of the screen are easy to handle, always resulting in dynamic action.
The graphics are also up to par. The crazy colorful comic look from the PC template has seamlessly made its way to the smartphone and looks cool there as well.
Currently, Paladins Strike can only be downloaded from the Australian Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The “soft launch” has taken place there. A worldwide official release date is still pending.
