What kind of game is this? Among Us is a multiplayer game by indie developer Innersloth, where a group of astronauts must prepare a spaceship for launch. However, some of the players are impostors trying to sabotage the others.
The objective of the astronauts is to make repairs, clean up, or install essential things like air filters. The impostors must stop them and kill. They can, for example, move through ventilation shafts and close doors.
The resulting “accidents” cause the astronauts to die, and after a body is discovered, a vote will take place on who is to blame. The player with the most votes will be thrown into lava and die. This principle is similar to the popular “Werewolves (of Düsterwald)”.
