Surprise: The Legend is also the very first opening of an RTL2 anime, this time from One Piece. And there’s another surprise: Andy Knote was responsible for the lyrics, along with Noel Pix, who also contributed to the singing.
Many fans associate One Piece mainly with the quote from Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates. He is already speaking when the first tones of the song sound. Every fan of the anime probably knows the beginning: Wealth, Power, and Fame.
The song is told from the perspective of Monkey D. Luffy. He gathers a crew to find the One Piece, the legendary treasure of the Pirate King.
