As in every year, the ratings of football stars in Ultimate Team by EA Sports are adjusted. We take a look at the professionals who can expect downgrades due to poor performances in FIFA 22.
Although the ratings of the new FIFA 22 cards are not officially known yet, we can already take a look at football stars who did not perform well in the past season. Especially interesting are the big stars who could consequently receive a downgrade from EA.

Eden Hazard
Reasons why Hazard can expect a downgrade: After the cover star of FIFA 20 already received a downgrade from 91 to 88 in FIFA 21, the Belgian winger might expect another loss of points in FIFA 22. His performance at Real Madrid last season certainly does not support an increase in his values. 4 goals and one assist in 21 games are definitely not strong arguments.
A new rating of 84 or 85 sounds realistic for FIFA 22.
Roman Bürki
Reasons why Bürki could expect a downgrade: It was somewhat surprising that Bürki was no longer the number 1 in Dortmund’s goal. Nevertheless, the Swiss keeper played 24 matches, conceding 32 goals. A downgrade in rating might therefore be expected.
A new rating of 82 could be conceivable for Bürki in FIFA 22.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Reasons why Aubameyang could expect a downgrade: The former BVB striker could not match his performances at Arsenal FC in the past season. He managed to score a respectable 10 goals in the Premier League. However, in the two previous seasons, the Gabonese scored 22 goals each. A downgrade could be the consequence.
Perhaps Aubameyang will still receive a strong 85-rated card in FIFA 22.
Niklas Süle
Reasons why Süle could expect a downgrade: Although Niklas Süle played 20 matches in the last Bundesliga season, his performances for the German record champions were not always up to the level of previous years (via Kicker). Therefore, a drop in his 84 rating would not be surprising.
A new 82 rating would be quite conceivable.
Anthony Martial
Reasons why Martial could expect a downgrade: The Manchester United striker managed only 7 goals in 36 matches in the 2020/21 season. Not a performance for which the Frenchman should expect an upgrade. A downgrade seems more likely.
A new rating of 82 could be realistic.
Dele Alli
Reasons why Alli could expect a downgrade: The last season was forgettable for Dele Alli. In a total of 29 matches, the attacking midfielder scored only 3 goals and provided only 5 assists. This points towards a downgrade for the Englishman.
At least he is unlikely to fall below 80 and will probably receive a new rating of 80.
