Resident Evil Chainsaw
What kind of controller is this? Originally, this controller was released for the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions of the horror game Resident Evil 4. The controller not only looks cool but is actually fully functional and you could really play Resident Evil 4 with the chainsaw. The weapon is actually based on the “Chainsaw Man” that appears in the game and could take quite a beating.
However, many users probably bought the device mainly for display purposes. Because for gaming, the thing is quite clunky and unwieldy.

Katana: The Soul Controller
What kind of controller is this? The controller looks like a katana, which is a Japanese long sword. The grip of the blade features all the buttons of a normal PS2 controller.
The controller was originally released for the PS2 game “Onimusha 3: Demon Siege”. Here, you could fight through dozens of enemies as a swordsman and also had to solve various puzzles.
With the katana controller, you can still game modern titles today. The YouTuber “SuperLouis64” demonstrated how to play the popular PS4 title “Ghost of Tsushima” using the katana controller. The result is certainly worth watching:
NES Power Glove
What kind of controller is this? The controller looks like a combat hand from a futuristic film. On the forearm, you’ll find all the important buttons you could use to game. The device is actually worn like a glove and transmits specific movements to the console.
The controller was designed for a series of games. In fact, only two games were released that officially supported the hardware. So you could use the controller in the side-scroller “Bad Street Brawler” and in the game “Super Glove Ball”. However, the fighting glove never really took off. After about a year, the device was discontinued.
