What happened? This was probably the most discussed ban from the German Twitch scene. MontanaBlack streamed live from his vacation in Malta in mid-September. He walked through a town and filmed young women. Meanwhile, he made moaning sounds and repeatedly emphasized how pretty the women in Malta were.
Another stream from Malta shows MontanaBlack on his hotel balcony. There he showed his viewers a woman who was at the hotel pool and photographed her. Then he called out to her: “Come down, Ficki-Ficki.”
It took several days before Twitch finally reacted to this action. A 33-day ban followed.
Why was the case discussed? After these actions in Malta, discussions around a ban became loud. The streamer Hand of Blood shared a video on Twitter showing one of the actions and called it “incredibly embarrassing”. Fans also demanded a ban and even called it sexual harassment.
