Azshara from World of Warcraft
Who is she? Queen Azshara ruled over the elves about 10,000 years ago and was the guardian of the Well of Eternity. However, due to manipulation by the Burning Legion, she failed and sank into the sea with the destruction of the Well. The Old Gods then transformed her into a serpent-like naga. In this form, she created a new underwater civilization.
This is her role in WoW: Azshara rules over the underwater city Nazjatar and is one of the villainesses that heroes encounter throughout the narrative in the WoW expansions Cataclysm, Legion, and Battle for Azeroth.
What makes her so “badass”? The threat posed by Queen Azshara forced the Alliance and the Horde to unite to defeat her at the bottom of the sea. She possesses such great power that even the mighty pit lord Mannoroth recognized he could not defeat her.
