Zulia (Sanzu), Witch of Darkness from Blade & Soul
Who is she? Sanzu was the daughter of the last master of the Aransu school and always wished for a sister or companion. She found this in Jinsoyun, a student of the legendary warrior Jiwan. However, Jinsoyun fell under the influence of the Dark Lord and killed Sanzu’s father.
In mourning, Sanzu also fell under the influence of the Dark Lord and took on the name Zulia. Her wrath towards Jinsoyun slowly transformed her into a demon. Her goal is to summon the Dark Lord and annihilate Jinsoyun.
What role does she play in Blade & Soul? Zulia is a manipulative figure in the story of the MMORPG Blade & Soul. She only reveals herself as an antagonist late in the story and represents a powerful final boss in the story “Zulia’s Last Stand,” in which the heroes see her true form.
What makes her so “badass”? As a boss opponent, Zulia is already a hard-to-defeat enemy and an impressive sight. Her appearance in the story, where she pretends to be “good” Sanzu only to strike in an unguarded moment, makes her an opponent that one remembers repeatedly.
