With Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph), we have included an anime in the list of vampire series for a change.
The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where a large part of all humans over the age of 13 have fallen victim to a mysterious virus.
The vampires take advantage of this and expand their own power, using the surviving children as a food source. However, the “Japanese Imperial Demon Army” puts up resistance and engages in a bitter war with the vampires.

The series captivates with a gripping story and exciting characters. The main character Yuichiro Hyakuya has already experienced hard blows in his childhood and has since been driven by revenge, willing to do anything to eradicate the vampires. However, a twist leads him to suddenly have to decide who he remains loyal to in the end.
