1. Sharks can inflict damage
The new sharks not only look frightening; they can really inflict damage on your character. This makes them doubly monstrous.
Note that sharks inflict damage in various ways. They either attack you with their mouths or hit you with their fins. So, you should be careful not to stand at an angle where they can hit you.
2. They give you loot
If you want to confront the sharks directly instead of using them as a mode of transportation, you can attack them with weapons and pickaxes. However, you should keep in mind that they have a lot of health points and are not easy to eliminate.
Anyone who faces this tough fight and emerges victorious will be rewarded with a weapon and ammunition. This is especially worthwhile if you defeat a shark with your pickaxe at the start of the match and then get at least one weapon for the ongoing battle.

The new sharks in Fortnite do not just swim quietly in the water; they can jump and not just a little. They can leap out of the water and still catch you several stories high and even at a distance.

4. You are not safe anywhere from them
Sharks can jump out of the water. This means they also come on land and can jump onto buildings. So, you are not safe if you are staying there.

5. You can feed them to make them glow
A cool feature with sharks is that you can feed them loot. To do this, you simply need to drop your loot in front of the sharks. Feeding brings a cool side effect that you can see well at night.
The sharks glow when fed. It depends on the rarity color of the weapon you fed them. So if you feed a weapon with the rarity “uncommon,” the shark will glow in the corresponding color green.
