3. Mad Men
At first glance, Mad Men has little to do with Breaking Bad, but here too, it’s about a main character who should be unlikable to viewers. Nevertheless, the development of Don Draper, who works in an advertising agency in the 1960s, is fascinating.
The setting of the 1960s is captivating, as many things happened in the USA during that decade, which are also addressed within the series. Jon Hamm as Don Draper delivers an excellent performance and manages to make the unsympathetic character charming, so you are never bored.
Mad Men scores 8.7 out of 10 stars on IMDb.
4. Better Call Saul
When talking about series like Breaking Bad, every fan should have seen Better Call Saul. The series centers around the lawyer Saul Goodman and tells his story before the events in Breaking Bad and how he became Walter’s lawyer.
Besides the great characters, the court sessions are exciting, in which Saul tries to save his clients with his unconventional ideas. The series serves as an anti-thesis to perfect
lawyers, like for example in Suits.
With 9.0 out of 10 stars, Better Call Saul also has an incredibly good rating on IMDb.
