Stats for all classes
Attributes and character stats in World of Warcraft always had a clear purpose? Not at all! With Classic, the chaos of character stats was perfect. The world was not as simple as “mages need intelligence” and “warriors gather strength”. In the classic version of World of Warcraft, almost every stat had some utility for every class.
For example, agility increased critical strike chance – even for paladins and warriors. Intelligence, on the side, ensured that you could skill professions and weapons more quickly.

The end result was that hybrid classes like paladins or druids usually ran through the game world in ridiculous cloth-leather-plate combos, shimmering in all the colors of the rainbow.
By the way, anyone today who does not understand what a “pet heal equipment” for hunters was supposed to be – that was no joke back then. Hunters often took cloth from warlocks, mages, and priests because intelligence increased the effectiveness of their “heal companion” ability. And if a hunter wanted to handle particularly tough fights alone, they had to keep their own pet alive above all.
