That’s why we want to introduce you to 5 games here that are absolutely worth playing – but may earn you some odd looks from your friends if you play them publicly on Steam.

Catherine is a sex game.
So, now that I have your attention, I can come clean with the truth. It really is a sex game. At least, that’s the crux of the plot.
What seems like a slightly twisted anime erotic fantasy at first glance quickly reveals itself to be a rather profound journey filled with plenty of story and moral dilemmas.
The protagonist Vincent must slowly decide what he actually wants in his relationship. His girlfriend Katherine urges him to finally seal the long-term partnership with a wedding. How fitting that after a long night at the pub, the forbidden hot “Catherine” suddenly appears and distracts Vincent from all his worries for a few hours.
The story about infidelity, fidelity, and desires is paired with challenging puzzle games and some of the creepiest boss battles of all time. Because when Vincent’s fear of fatherhood manifests in a nightmare as a gigantic horror baby still attached to the umbilical cord, screaming “Daddy” in a monstrous voice while trying to crush his father, you understand why the game is rated 16.
And trust me: By the end of Catherine, you will have learned much more about yourself than about the protagonists in this story.
