Paragon – Everything new?
Paragon, the glossy MOBA from Epic Games, was already adjusted in December. Nevertheless, the game now offers a completely different experience that is still highly relevant in January. Especially since a new heroine is coming into the game on January 10, 2017.
The swinging angel
The new hero in Paragon is called “Serath” and if you think of “something with angels” by this name, you are not far off. Serath carries the codename “Fallen Angel” and a set of wings. She is supposed to be a tough melee fighter who swings a mace to crush her opponents.
Also interesting: Serath will be the first heroine specifically developed for the new map “Monolith”. This map replaced the old Legacy Map on December 6. Monolith is smaller than Legacy and fits the new “more and faster action” concept of Paragon.
Paragon shifting gears
According to the developers at Epic Games, the “old” Paragon was too slow and sluggish. Matches took too long and were not dynamic and action-packed enough. Therefore, the developers radically reshaped and changed the game in December. The heroes move faster, have drastically reduced cooldowns and only deal basic and skill damage.
As a result, the MOBA is also becoming more accessible and less complex. However, Epic Games does not make all players happy with this, as many veterans liked the comfortable gameplay of the “old” Paragon. Nevertheless, the changes seem to be well received by most players.
So those who have always wanted to play a really beautiful MOBA should check out Paragon in January. The game is free to play, after all – also on the PS4.
