Omega Crafter and Palworld have some similarities
Why is Omega Crafter interesting for fans of Palworld? There are some parallels to Palworld in Omega Crafter that could make the game quite interesting if you want to take a break from the Steam hit.
We at MeinMMO have therefore compiled 5 reasons why you should take a look at Omega Crafter. Among them are NPCs that assist you in the camp and in combat, a customizable camp, and various boss enemies.
1. Grammis are your support in the camp and in combat
In Palworld, you can catch Pals that have various abilities and assist you in combat and in the camp. It’s similar in Omega Crafter, where you get a buddy by your side when creating your character, to whom you can also give a name.
This one can perform tasks like chopping wood for you and helps when you are attacked. Additionally, there are Grammis that support you in the camp, for example, by making arrows and packing them into boxes.
A special feature of the Grammis is that you can program them to assist you. For this, either suitable templates are available or you can program your Grammi according to your own wishes.
One aspect that is missing compared to Palworld is the capturing of beings. This is not possible in Omega Crafter. Instead, you receive more support when you collect certain fragments that are scattered all over the map.
2. Omega Crafter has a multiplayer mode
Omega Crafter also offers a co-op mode, similar to Palworld, in which you can play together with your friends. For this, one player must create a world after character creation and activate the multiplayer mode. Like many other survival games, you can also set a password for your world to restrict access.
3. You can customize your camp according to your wishes
For many players, base building is a crucial aspect in survival games, also in Palworld. Also in Omega Crafter, building your own camp plays a big role, although you can build not just a small camp but even a whole city.
The game also aims to offer a variety of decorative items with the full release. However, the selection is still very limited during the demo.
4. You find different bosses on the map
At the beginning of Omega Crafter, you can set different difficulty levels. Similar to Palworld, you will find various bosses scattered across the entire map, against which you must face off during the game.
Due to the different difficulty levels, you can individually decide how challenging your boss battles should be.
If you are, for example, more interested in base building, you can simply lower the difficulty of your world or increase it if you are looking for a greater challenge. The difficulty levels are “Very easy”, “Easy”, “Normal”, “Hard”, and “Very hard.”
5. There is a large map with plenty of space to explore
Another similarity to Palworld, but also to other survival games, is the open game world of Omega Crafter. This offers plenty of space and time to explore and discover.
In the demo, it is still unclear whether there are other things to discover besides the bosses. However, there are chests that provide you with valuable items, as well as fragments that allow you to recruit more Grammis for your camp. Additionally, you can, of course, collect a variety of resources for your base and also find ingredients for cooking.
