There are no news about the story finish of Season 15 this week in Destiny 2 . It seems that players don’t have much planned for November. If it weren’t for the fact that there are currently a few really good weapons that are likely to leave the game with Witch Queen.
Bungie keeps it exciting. During Iron Banner week, there is silence regarding the current story. Next month, the 30th Anniversary event is coming up. But until then, not much new seems to be happening. Now is the perfect time to organize your collection, clean out your vault, and make room for these five weapon god rolls.
Here’s why you should farm the weapons now:
- New and old seasonal weapons will leave the game with the expansion “The Witch Queen”.
- It’s not certain that all weapons from past seasons will move into the world pool.
- There’s a possibility that they might be gone for a while and won’t be obtainable anymore.
Season of the Hunt
“Ear-splitting Whisper”, Void Grenade Launcher
If you’ve always loved laying down a deadly carpet under your opponents, this grenade launcher is perfect. It can unleash devastation not just in Gambit. Players have farmed for the perfect roll of the small Void grenade launcher for almost a month.
If you hate grenade launchers, you’ll love this one: This grenade launcher does not explode. If you hate it when grenades just bounce around and always exactly hop through the legs of your opponents, then get this specimen. The weapon creates a damaging Void wall on the ground that sends entire groups of enemies flying and kills them. Always nice to see in PvE.
Here are the rolls we recommend:
- Aspiring Assassin: Overcharges the magazine based on the number of rapid kills before reloading.
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily boost damage.
- Optional Urqell: Kills with this weapon generate ability energy.
- Or also Auto-loading Holster: The weapon reloads automatically after a short time.
Here’s how to get the weapon: You need to play the seasonal activity “Wrathborn Hunt” from the Season of the Hunt. The good thing is that you can choose certain perks or exclude them using the Cryptolith lure. However, the weapon is not included in every lure round. You will surely need to do a few runs for that.
Season of the Chosen
“Extraordinary Performance”, 750 RPM Submachine Gun
It has already secured a solid place in the kinetic slot for many players and is considered one of the best legendary submachine guns.
Here are the rolls we recommend:
- Getting By: Defeating targets partially refills the magazine from reserves.
- Berserk: This gives you a hefty damage bonus of 20%. As long as you are in combat for 12 seconds, the perk activates.
Here’s how to get the weapon: You no longer need to play the seasonal activity. Just focus your Umbral Engrams on “Tools of the Chosen” in the H.E.L.M. This will cost you, in addition to legendary shards, only Parallax Trajectories.
Season of the Splicer
“Raster Breaker”, 540 RPM Pulse Rifle
The Raster Breaker is a fantastic fast-firing energy pulse rifle. It is a good replacement for the pulse rifle from the Dreaming City “Des Horror’s Mind“.
Here are the rolls we recommend:
- Heating Up: Final blows with this weapon increase precision and stability, and improve vertical recoil. The perk helps immensely in staying on target to achieve more precision hits.
- Berserk: For those who aren’t so accurate, this perk is worth trying as it requires much less effort to trigger. Additionally, it gives you a hefty damage bonus of 20% as long as you are in combat for 12 seconds.
- Multi-Kill Clip: A great damage-boosting advantage if you hit well.
Here’s how to get the weapon: To get the weapon, you need to play the seasonal activity from Season 14 “Override“. You’ll receive “Decrypted Data” from which you can focus the Raster Breaker through the Season of the Splicer tab in the H.E.L.M.
If you’re more into auto rifles, then play the Prophecy dungeon:
Season of the Chosen
“Needle’s Eye”, Void Linear Fusion Rifle
Just last week, everyone wanted this beauty, as it allowed players to defeat Sedia “The Corrupted” in just one phase. The Needle’s Eye is one of the few linear fusion rifles that can actually drop with Vorpal Weapon.
Here are the rolls we recommend:
- Mess Filter: Aiming with this weapon increases effective range and zoom magnification.
- Vorpal Weapon: Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with active supers.
Here’s how to get the weapon: Focus your Umbral Engrams on “Tools of the Chosen” in the H.E.L.M. If you spend a few legendary shards and Parallax Trajectories, a good roll should drop for you fairly quickly.
Trials of Osiris
“Shayura’s Wrath”, Void Submachine Gun
Even without any perks, Shayura’s Wrath is superior to almost all SMGs. This is due to its incredible range and zoom, which is so atypical for submachine guns. Especially in PvP, it’s a solid substitute for the heavily missed and especially unnerfed Aside Spider.
Here are the rolls we recommend:
- Hammer-forged Rifling (+10 range) or Smallbore (+7 range and stability) as well as Enhanced Rounds (+10 range)
- Tunnel Vision: Reloading after defeating a target significantly improves target acquisition and aim down sight speed for a short time.
- Kill Clip: Reloading after a kill causes increased damage.
Here’s how to get the weapon: Shayura’s Wrath can be found in the Trials of Osiris. It is also available in a Master version. Due to the new loot system at the 14th Saint, you can easily focus the rolls onto the submachine gun with Trials Engrams. You only need to have received it once as a random drop from the Cryptarch.
Of course, it is possible that most of the weapons recommended here won’t completely disappear with the new expansion “The Witch Queen“. However, without focusing or the then lower drop rates, they will be much harder to farm.
What weapons should you generally keep in the vault?
In Destiny 2, each new season also brings a new meta. Since players have so little space in their vault, the question often arises: “What should you keep for the future and what should you break down?”
This way, you’ll always be well-equipped:
- Generally, it is advisable to store one of each weapon type in the vault. So for example, an auto rifle with Arc, one with Void, and one with Solar. The same goes for pulse rifles, shotguns, etc.
- In the future, Stasis will surely be included here as well.
- For the kinetic slot, the perk “Osmosis” on a weapon is always helpful. It ensures that your kinetic weapon adopts the element of your grenade after throwing.
Which specific weapons you choose for that remains, of course, a question of personal preference.
Have you got all the weapons with the perfect rolls and are ready for the new expansion? Or will you take it easy during the content drought?
