Many players resemble their real-life counterparts in FIFA 21 almost identically. However, there are some stars who have received a bit less love from EA. We are showing you soccer players who urgently need new game faces for FIFA 22.
While big soccer stars without a decent appearance in FIFA 21 are rather the exception, they do exist. These unfortunate players usually receive a generic, bland face that looks nothing like the real athletes.
We present to you 5 soccer stars who need proper faces in FIFA 22.
Robin Gosens
This is Robin Gosens: Robin Gosens plays for the Italian top club Atalanta Bergamo and has particularly made a name for himself in the Champions League as well as in the European Championship. The highly performing defender has already received a strong 85-rated card in FUT 21, yet in-game, Gosens looks nothing like the player on the card.
So it’s high time for a face scan of the German national player.
Giovanni Reyna
This is Giovanni Reyna: Although the young talent from Borussia Dortmund has already been equipped with an extremely strong 91-rated card, a real face is still missing from the attacking midfielder in FIFA 21. We hope that this will finally change in FIFA 22 and Reyna will finally get a face scan.
Martin Odegaard
This is Martin Odegaard: Last year, we at MeinMMO wished for a face scan for the eternal talent Martin Odegaard. However, our wish has yet to be fulfilled. The Norwegian receives special cards all the time, yet there is still no trace of his real face in FIFA 21.
Maybe we can finally use an authentic Odegaard in FIFA 22.
Reinier
This is Reinier: The young striker from Borussia Dortmund has received interesting cards this FUT year that were found in many Bundesliga teams. However, after a goal with the strong striker card, you often had to wonder who on the pitch was celebrating their fantastic goal, because the player certainly doesn’t look like Reinier.
Arthur
This is Arthur: While there is a certain resemblance between the real Arthur and his FIFA counterpart, it is not due to a detailed face scan from EA. The strong midfielder (84) has been running around with a standard face for several years and urgently needs an overhaul – in-game, that is.
Many unknown talents have real faces
There are also counterexamples: As shown by the YouTube channel FCG (via YouTube), there are also many young players that EA has recreated with face scans. It is even more surprising that some stars lack their real faces.
