In May 2018, there are new releases and important updates for a series of MMOs. This time, three releases and a few important new content patches are on the way.
In May, it unfortunately still often happens that cold or bad weather keeps you from barbecuing or engaging in other outdoor activities. But luckily, there are new MMOs and online games that you can enjoy in any weather.
Bless – Finally a new MMORPG!
What is Bless anyway? Bless is a Korean online role-playing game that is finally set to be released worldwide after a long development. Bless will be a classic AAA MMORPG and a new release for genre-starved fans.
Highlights of Bless include:
- Thoroughly revised hybrid combat system, where you unleash devastating combos using rhythm and different stances
- Tameable animals
- Massive PvP with hundreds of players and open PvP in the endgame
- 7 somewhat wacky races like cat and wolf beings as well as cuddly gnomes
- Raids for up to 40 players!
What are the players hoping for from Bless?
Bless promises complex gameplay, PvP faction battles, and deep gameplay features. Therefore, fans hope for a solid new MMO with a well-thought-out combat system that has enough content from the beginning to motivate players in the long run.
Moreover, many players hope that the payment system will be free of Pay2Win. Especially Asian games have a bad reputation in this regard. Bless comes from South Korea.
What will Bless be in the best or worst case?
The ideal case: Ideally, Bless will be exactly the big AAA MMORPG hope that some fans see in the title. So finally a new online RPG of high quality that brings fresh air into the stagnant genre. Especially the rhythmic combat system, mass PvP, and large raids sound promising and could be a lot of fun. In addition, Bless simply looks really good and has a soundtrack from Hollywood star composer Hans Zimmer.
This is threatened in the worst case: Bless is by no means undisputed. The turbulent history of the game’s development shows that there were apparently many disagreements. Especially the combat system has been quite remodeled. Does it still fit with the rest of the game? And does the combat rhythm, the stances, and the skill combos even work?
Furthermore, the game has been in development for about 7 years and the Unreal 3 engine is no longer the youngest. Bless could therefore also become “just another Asian import MMO” that, in the worst case, has a Pay2Win cash shop.
Who should play Bless?
The target audience of Bless is clearly MMORPG fans. Especially the prospect of finally playing a new online role-playing game from the start should attract many genre fans. In addition, there is a beautiful, lively game world, a strong PvP aspect, and animals that you can tame.
Fans of large raids can also look forward to 40-player raids. So Bless offers a lot of content for MMORPG fans.
Bless is expected to be released no earlier than mid-May, possibly even later in May, as Neowiz plans to present more details, including starting packages, on May 11.
On Page Two, we continue with arrogant elves!
