Destiny – Enjoy one last triumph…
In Destiny, the Guardians are currently in high spirits! Because the Age of Triumph has begun, and you can now send all those disgusting alien scum tormenting humanity and the last city to hell at your leisure. At least until Destiny 2 comes out and everything is for naught…
Beat Crota one more time
The highlight of the last major Destiny update before the sequel is currently Crota. More precisely, “Crota’s End”, because after you could give Oryx’s son his well-deserved end at the start of Destiny, the raid later became too easy. In the Age of Triumph, you can again travel to the moon to the hell’s mouth and visit the Prince of the Hive in his hideout.
But even though the “Age of Triumph” has begun, it will not be an easy fight because Crota has been significantly boosted with challenges to meet the endgame requirements of Destiny. However, the new Crota loot is far better than before. Crota’s End is by the way not the only raid that has been recycled.
In the coming weeks, all other raids will reopen with special challenges. There should be something going on throughout April.
New loot from old raids
The detour to Crota and the Glass Chamber is worthwhile not only for nostalgia. Because the upgraded raid gives you new cool loot. This includes new armor ornaments and exotic raid-adept weapons. Additionally, every Guardian receives the largest certificate book ever given away in Destiny upon logging in!
You cannot take this stuff with you to Destiny 2, but until the successor is released, the new stuff should serve you well in the fight against Hive, Fallen, Cabal, or the Vex. So get into the fight, Guardians, enjoy the triumph while it lasts!
