FIFA 22 (or any FIFA) – A Source of Great Anger
Genre: Sports | Release: 01.10.2021 | Platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S | Developer: EA | Model: Buy-To-Play
What kind of game is this? Games in the FIFA series are sports simulations. You play virtual football here. The game allows a variety of typical football moves, including passes, fouls, and long shots on goal. As in football, you must have more goals than the opponent at the end of the game, whether playing solo, co-op, or against each other.
The FIFA games also do not feature any fictional players. Rather, all the players are modeled after their real-life counterparts. In the game, you encounter virtual counterparts of stars like Ronaldo or Messi.
Another important aspect of the game is collecting players and assembling the perfect team. To do this, you buy card packs and hope for strong players within. You can then combine them into particularly strong teams, even if certain top players cost a fortune.
For casual co-op rounds or games against friends and partners, the “Kick-Off” mode is especially suitable.
Why is this game dangerous for relationships? FIFA matches are – like real football games – extremely competitive. It’s all about winning, and in the player-versus-player mode, one must ultimately lose. And since FIFA games now exhibit very complex gameplay features, new players struggle accordingly. This often leads to frustrating defeats or arguments in co-op mode.
Nothing is more annoying than when the perfectly prepared pass from a teammate is messed up because that person still hasn’t figured out how to convert such situations into goals.
As one user writes on Reddit laconiedly: “Don’t play with friends, there are no friends. Even if you win, you lose.”
What should be considered? Again, it is important that both players are on a similar level before playing this game with friends or a partner. Nothing is less fun than spending an entire match taking in goals and then having to pretend to be happy for your partner when they win 25-0.
It’s better for both partners to simply find opponents of their own caliber through matchmaking.
