Apex Legends
What’s new in Apex Legends? The 2nd season of the battle royale shooter Apex Legends is expected in June 2019. The developers at Respawn Entertainment want to make up for lost ground, as the game has recently fallen out of favor with players.
There simply wasn’t enough new content, and the innovations from season 1 as well as the battle pass rewards were rather weak in the eyes of many players.
On June 7th, they plan to present season 2 at the E3. The season is expected to start later in the month as well.
Here are the highlights of Apex Legends in June
So far, not much concrete information is known about season 2 of Apex Legends. We know that the developers want to bring more content this time, and the rather lackluster season 1 was more of a test run. They have also presented some initial content:
Thus, fans hope for more and better skins in season 2. Additionally, there is hope for at least one new weapon. A new character is already considered certain, likely a trapper named Wattson. According to pro player Shroud, who seems to know more, Wattson will be cool but not as big of a hit as Octane was.
Wattson is expected to be a situational hero, similar to the toxic trapper Caustic.
Why should you play Apex Legends in June?
First of all, the upcoming start of season 2 means you don’t have much time left to play through season 1. So if you want a specific banner or the ultimate weapon skin at the end, you should get back into it now.
If you’re eagerly awaiting new features and items in Apex Legends, then the launch of season 2 might just be the answer to all your wishes.
